I started in the kitchen along side my Uncle when I was 13. He taught me the correct way to handle food, appreciate and respect it. I have been in the culinary industry for over 30 years working in my own kitchens as well as many others. Being trained in several areas of the culinary world I always come home to my roots of Italian cuisine and that is what Chef Mike’s will be about. Good food, always fresh and never frozen, just as I have done with my catering company Chef Mikes Catering Co.
This passion for the culinary arts is what prompted Food Network to reach out to me, and it was the experience of a life time flying to California to perform on the greatest stage for the first time. The experience is only something few chefs get to be apart of.I am grateful for my time on Food Network and WINNING Cutthroat Kitchen.
